Carter ((HUGS!!)) & Good Wishes Team up for Kids

Carter Joseph Bucciero was a beautiful blond haired, hazel eye little boy. At just 2, he was a happy and vibrant little boy – full of love and laughter. Nothing ever prepared us to hear that he had an inoperable astrocytoma brain tumor.

My name is Sarah Bucciero, Carter’s mother. I am working diligently with Good Wishes to fund a legacy program in my son Carter’s name. Once funded, Good Wishes will provide wraps directly to the children in need of a ‘hug’ for their head in the communities where Carter was treated. I want other children to experience the same joyful feeling he had when he received his wrap.

Good Wishes provides a “Hug for the head” to anyone experiencing the thinning or loss of hair as a result of illness, injury or treatment free of charge. Each wrap is a gift of hope that carries with it the support and good wishes of people who care and represents the strength and dignity of those who wear it. Their goal is to, in some small way, ease their journey, provide a bit of comfort and share the power of positive thinking and good wishes with these individuals on their paths to healing and recovery.
